Today we crossed the Ohio into Kentucky. We had an early morning start in the rain but the weather cleared as the day progressed and that was a good thing since we had 85 miles to cover in the day. The rolling hills were nice but we had a 17% ...

Today, we decided to check out the original Santa Claus, IN based on a referral from a local resident. The original town was located a mile or so away from the current town center. The town's church was built in 1880 and a large statue of Santa Claus was commemorated in 1935 and faces east toward the birth place of Jesus. The resort is located next door to Holiday World ...

... told us about a the little town of Jupiter about 20 minutes north. Was about a $40 cab ride, but had a lovely dinner at Jetty's. Older crowd, but great patio on the water. Brody loved the shrimp and calamari. Heard Guanabanas was another great one, but more of an adult atmosphere.

Friday we headed back home. Loved our stay in Florida, but would probably choose a place closer to the airport next time.

    One cold night

... for some breakfast. I'm at Julies Cafe and just ate a tremendous breakfast: 3 sausage links, 2 bacon strips, 2 pancakes, hash browns, toast and 2 eggs for only $6. That's where I am right now writing this on my smartphone. I'll probably head over to the library and spend the day there again since it's too cold to be outside very ...
