They told us about shops to check out, including the Ghiradelli Chocolate down the street, and helped us find a place to stay. They pointed out the hostels and David even offered to let us stay with him. They were so nice and helpful!

San Diego
... feet. That fin is under the boat to help stabalize the boat. It counters the weight and height of the mast, and prevents the boat from tipping over.
Everyone got to drive/steer the boat, and I also got to help cranking something.
The experience was very fun, and I would do it again if I got the chance.

San Diego to Flagstaff - 16.5hr bus ride!!
Found Charlie's recommended resturant - Bahia Don Bravo in Birdrock, La Jolla. Had a potato rolled taco, as they call it here "street taco".
Made our way on the night bus from San Diego to Flagstaff with a stop over in Los Angleles and Las Vegas. Travelled through California, Nevada and into Arizona!!

... room… I was pleasantly surprised that my husband had pre-ordered liquor and flowers to the room. We were then off to safety boat training where we learned that booze was not allowed. Then it was off to the top deck to bid adieu to San Diego!
