I was pretty lucky to get the heads up about Nashville through friends...they are musicians and their take on it is unique. Me? I have come here as a tourist and boy, it's great if you are a tourist. I arrived on Wednesday from a beautifully warm Florida to a freezing cold Tennessee. And I mean freezing...-5 when I arrived. A cold weather front hit this part of the States and it hit hard. ... southwestern ranch dipping sauce...another $3 app...they were both very good..Then Tony and I shared a order of 10 Wings "WILD" flavor which is the one next to the hottest ..."BLAZE"...we love their wings..

Noel got her 10 wings...5 of the "Hot BBQ" and 5 of the "Chipotle Hot Rub"...she also shared some of the appetizers of course because they were for the table...I also always order carrots and celery sticks with bleu cheese and ranch dipping sauces..We love this ...

Red eye flights are no fun BUT.........

... had a spicy pasta, salad, cheese and crackers, a roll and a small brownie. More that I could eat. Then they shameless tried to sell duty free products. We watched movies. We tried to sleep on this eight hour flight, but I did not do much more than doze off a few times. Susan laid across us and did sleep a few hours! Then they served a hot light breakfast. The TV series Nashville brought us here, but we stayed for the music. It's everywhere and can be heard free, or for the cost of a couple of beers and a tip. Old, young, black and white, they all come here to play. Of course, we started off with a visit to the Grand Ole Opry. Not free. It's a rousing show in a huge new theater. The Opry has been a country institution since 1925 when it first appeared on radio. It's still simulcast live on your am ...

Staying in an older but quite nice campground that features a different singer every night on the back deck of the office/store.
