... and I never got used to the humidity. I found the woods to be very dense and kind of creepy, but loved the fireflies. I have never seen as many football-field-size front lawns as I did around Nashville. John Deere must sell lots of riding mowers there. I had also never seen such huge neighborhood fireworks displays as I did on the 4th of July. They rivaled some put on by towns.

... crowded streets. Did I say WE, that would be Ed. There is even a supermarket in the train station! Now it is a BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY here. We found the Saturday market. It is like flea market with lots of vendors that also have produce, bakeries, cheese, everything you can think of. Did I mention crowded. Hello again Interesting time in Washington. Even in Sept it was chock full of tourists, thousands and thousands of us, more tour busses from out of town in view at any given time than I have seen in my entire life, five or six local tour companies with busses coming by every half hour, people all over the place.
