Great place to stay!! (spent 9 nights here 29 July 2004)

    from

Good accomodation - fridge - microwave and t.v (nintendo for the kids!) Coffee maker, hair dryer and even an ironing board and iron!! 2 double beds, living area with table and chairs. Washing machines and dryers to use on each floor ($2 a wash) free ice machines on each floor too!! Rooms very clean and maid came in every day - couldn't fault this.

Pool area was very good, plenty of space and sunloungers, free pool towels provided daily. The pool was lovely and clean with fantastic jacuzzi, and was open 'til 11pm every night (Brilliant if you've had a hard day at the parks!!) Bar food very basic and quite pricey ...as were the drinks $1 for coke, if you go to the supermarkets you can get a case of 12 for just over $4.

Free breakfast was good - make your own waffles and toast - cakes and fruit, basic but ok for free and you could take as much as you like for your day !

Reception very helpful, we had a problem with t.v control and someone came up straight away, this was 10.30 at night - very impressed!!

The only thing you must know is that you DEFINATELY need a car....we were told we could walk to International drive and there were shops and restaurants nearby - this was not true. Taxis were $10 - $12 each way to International Drive with the shops etc.

The hotel provides free coaches to Universal, Wet n Wild and Seaworld at set times during the day and evening - if you drive yourself you will pay $8 to park your car.

We paid 25 per room through Orchid travel (up to 5 share) per night, the only extra was a tax of $2.50 per night payable when you get there, this includes a safe in the room and free coffee throughout your stay.

A big thanks to all the staff there.....we will definately be back if we ever get another bargain fly-drive again !! xxxx

Great place for the money! :)

My husband and I always stay at this hotel when we visit Orlando!! We have annual passes to Universal Studios, so we visit often! I would not call this hotel the Ritz, but it is definitely not as bad as some of the bad reviews. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Crowds and tourists, yet still only minutes from Universal Studios, Sea World, and I-4. Choice brand hotels have a satisfaction guarantee so if you are not pleased with your room or service, just tell them. They will make it right or they will pay for your night's stay. If you visit Choice brand hotels often then you can join the Rewards program and get room upgrades and points at every choice brand hotel. I joined and have used it every time I stay here!! I also have earned 3 nights free with the points I have accumulated!!!! Stay at the hotel before you decide to believe the bad reviews. You will like it!

    Really nice hotel

    from

We stayed at this hotel Saturday - Wednesday and had a wonderful time. The oversized rooms were great and the rates were fabulous. The breakfast was very good but you had to get down there fairly early to enjoy it. The seating area is too small for the amount of people that try to use it. One morning we went down at 8:30 and there were 7 people in line for waffles. We didn't wait! The staff was very polite and very helpful. The location was perfect. Close enough to International Drive yet away from all the traffic. Really slick heading south on Turkey Lake Road to get to Sea World or I-4. We would definitely stay here again!!

    Loved it!

    from

After reading the reviews on this website I felt awful and was dreading what i would find.

Only one complaint and that was one member of staff at the tiki bar who was really slow. There was one guy who was particularly friendly and gave us tons of advice about where to go and where to avoid.

If youre used to your typical 3* Spanish hotel then this is for you. I couldnt fault it.

My Dad lost $40 and the maid found it and left it on the table with a note.

The breakfast was lovely with a huge selection. Cereal, waffles with maple syrup, cakes, porridge, toast.

I really cant see why this place got such bad reviews. I had a great time, the location was perfect (just down the road from Seaworld and Disovery Cove, but far enough away from the loud parts of International Drive), and I would definitely stay there again.

    Very nice hotel

    from

We stayed here for a few days. It was very nice. It had a great pool.

The breakfast was nice. The service was great. It was centrally located. I would totally recommend staying at this hotel.

    Never again

    from

I booked the Comfort Suites with the hotel chain in mind.I booked through a Seaworld vacation package. Affordable and Convenient. I got what I paid for. The room was filthy. The sofa bed was broken, bathroom was dirty and I was afraid to use the sheets and blankets. It whole hotel was very dirty looking. The breakfast buffet was so crowded it wasn't worth the wait. When I spoke with the manager she informed me I should have had a renovated room. We've all heard that before. After my persistance I got one night refunded and was informed to give the hotel another chance if I was to visit the area again. No way. The light at the end of the tunnel was knowing that we were going on to Disneys Fort Wilderness cabins for the remainder of our vavcation.

    Sleezy, dirty hotel

    from

The room was filthy. The pool heater was broken. The showers were ice cold. The common areas reminded me of a housing project in Chicago...

very dirty. This is not what I had envisioned our winter get away to look like. The only positive comment is the place had a decent continental breakfast with do-it-yourself waffle irons.

    Skip this one

    from

The room had a strong smell of mildew. We were charged $2 a day for use of the in-room safe, even though we clearly stated we would not be needing it. When we asked the front desk clerk to call us a cab, he ordered some company that charged double what other taxis in town charged. The best thing about this place is the tiki bar at the pool.

The pool wasn't dirty & the spa/hot tub was nice.

    Never Again!!

    from

This hotel/motel is old dirty and damp. The rooms are small and dull.

Nothing seemed to work, even the pool was grubby. Never again......

    Save Yourself!

    from

Upon check-in Comfort Suite manager hands me a certificate for a "welcome gift." Turns out to be an "arrangement" in the lobby with them and Tempus Resorts for a 2 Hour high pressure, one-on-one salesman in your face scam to by Time Shares. Advice: Avoid any "discount" offers by Comfort Suites or respresentative in their lobby. Buy full priced Orlando entertainment tickets on your own. First Impression of room: 2 pubic hairs remaining in tub; microwave didn't work; carpet old; toilet overflowed on last day.

With the wand shop - with 100s of different wands costing about 50 bucks each, but they came with a map of where the wands could be used (there were sensors set around, which were set off by the wands, this was clever and you could see everyone waving their wands about ) next door was ...

Our first day in Disney was slowly coming to an end, but we still had an amazing night ahead!! First we spotted an ice cream shop, which looked delicious. We both asked for a two scoop cone, one of ...

Our flight from Los Angeles to Orlando via Austin, Texas was a long day and after picking up the car then the accommodation keys, we finally arrived in our condo villa in Kissimmee at around 10:30pm local time. We were most impressed with the accommodation - it was a great sized villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms, a full sized kitchen and spacious open-planned dining and lounge areas. The girls shared ...

... her first shot a frog leaped from behind a tree and onto the green right next the hole! Now I'm not a massive fan of frogs or anything but I certainly wouldn't want one to get smacked with a golf ball, so we moved it on it's way, finished the hole and carried on to the next hole.

As we were approaching hole 14 I had taken the lead several times, but a few holes in one from Kirsty had helped to keep things even. I laid my ball down and took my shot but to my horror ...

... more than 5 metres in front of you. We saw all the shows sea world had to offer which lucky for us were undercover seating for the audience. Finally at 3pm the rain cleared for an hour, just enough time to let us go on the 2 roller coasters they have which we're both awesome. We headed home at 5.30 with a trip to the supermarket on the way home to buy some food to watch the basketball in front of. We spent the night with microwave ...
