It was the time of the annual bison round up. There are around 700 bison on the island, a remnant of the once so plentiful animals in the west. Jim and Barrie took photos until that decided the bison were starting to look a bit stressed so we all jumped back in the car in case they charged! We saw several antelope, one group bounding across the road in front of us, and a few deer. Sadly no bears or moose! Someone suggested they may be enjoying the roads within the parks that are closed!
