Phew... Going through US Customs was a bit trying... No searching but a lot of questions meant - I supposed - to catch us with something bad... Who knows. We did not loose any meal. We're in the middle of a fairground, with a weak WiFi but OK. The only analog TV channels are from Detroit but the Detroit area offers 22 digital channels, many
Longer day than expected but we grinded the flying condo to a halt. No problem other than a sticking lock on the propane door.

... I have for a while unless they can make them out of kimchi in Korea. My flight in wasn't bad, but I didn't get much sleep. Time to work on the TEFL though, so I will end my entry here unless something interesting happens between now and my flight, which isn't for 3 more hours! Sweet layover!
... of the market, only $7.70 a share, and it's now up to $24. 300% profit--Why didn't I buy more?!! For frequent cruisers this is a no-brainer. I also bought Carnival, so now I have an excuse to cruise with them too.
Tomorrow is going to be a long day. We'll be on planes from 8:30 am until about midnight! Oh well, guess we'll suffer through it! Bye for now.
... would ever come to be realized. Between incessant court-dates, elusive probation officers, and my own hemorrhaging of funds from traffic tickets and ubiquitous overdraft fees, my final days in the US felt like a hobble rather than a sprint to the finish. Intermittently, I felt moments of disdain for the place I was raised. A string of memorable weekend getaways with accompaniment from Daniel Pachota (born in South Dakota) amounted in my final days of summer, indicative of my longing to ...
Grosse Ile, Michigan, United States josephp10155After the wedding, I spent a few days down in Michigan. This was great for two main reasons. One, I got to spend time with my friend and two, I got to spend time away from my nephew. Now, I know I don't come out well from that statement but a break from, "play with me, play with me", was not an unwelcome thing.
Now, I'd love to say that we didn't just lie around the pool, watch lots of movies, eat too much and sleep most hours of the day. I'd love to say that......

We head off towards Detroit Canada is not much different in looks to the united states, except for a plethora of Tim Horton donut and coffee take always. We have also noticed take away chip vans next to service stations ...
... was Manila via Nagoya, so there were a lot of languages to deal with. They announced almost everything in English, Tagalog and Japanese. There were still some language issues. There weren't enough Tagalog speakers to go around. I helped a couple of people, two Tagalog speakers and one French-Canadian, whose English was decent but fell apart a little in difficult circumstances to figure out what was going on. I ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States srvance... much we cared about this stuff - that's what comes through to me, that's what I like about it now." Readers can also hear a little bit of what those days were like. The new edition of Guitar Army comes packaged with a bonus CD that features recordings of the MC5, the Rationals, the Up and other revolutionary bands. Interspersed with those songs are recordings from White Panther Party meetings, a speech by Bobby Seale, and poetry by Allen Ginsberg, James Semark ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States johnsinclairOk, the mad frantic rush to get all my sh*t together is as complete as it's gonna get. It's funny that I felt that I had all this time to plan and organize, and now it's gone. Now matter how much I plan ahead, I'm always doing it this way at the last minute; c'est la vie.
Nothing too exciting happened during my 12 days here...saw some old friends, enjoyed several rounds of ...
