News went on while we were gone. Trouble in Ukraine continues. We witnessed a fragile cease fire in Gaza, perhaps it can hold this time and we were witness, as was the world, to two of the most horrific American deaths imaginable, at the hands of barbarians We also lost two of the greatest gifts to comedy in Robin Williams and Joan Rivers but we got to laugh again with them as tribute was paid to them in the media.

I would also like to thank Amy for bringing her family to see us in Roscoe and Cyn and Mike Ilseman for entertaining us for 4 fun-filled days of golf, good food and heart-filling friendship. My precious niece and her husband, Jenny and David, kept our dog, Bosley, at their house for 7 weeks! And Jenny lent me her mom's, my sister Jan, troll doll. Here's the story. If all goes well we will arrive in New Orleans tomorrow afternoon and plan to be having dinner at Emeril's. While I have been to New Orleans several times, all but one visit has been for business. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the town, outside hotel meeting rooms and the obvious places that cater to mainly out of town business people.

We left Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and took the back roads through the everglades and looped around Lake Okeechobee then through sugar cane country. Then there was scrub pine and then the citrus groves. We came to rest at Arrowhead Campsites to be used as our base to visit family and get some PM work done on our RV at the Piney Woods Automotive in Ocala ...
