Made it from Fairfield North Carolina to Ocala Florida. Pretty pooped but the hotel has a pool and we stretched out for a bit listening to the cars on the highway roar past. But, we're in shorts and in Florida. Ocala, in the central part of the state boasts the Ocala National Forest and from what we can see not too much else. What a pleasant surprise! The park is near the highway but there are trees every and the sites quite accessible. We had an uneventful drive. It rained intermittently with stretches of sun shine.
People in the park obviously take xmas seriously! Take a look at the pictures. What a joy!
