      Big day today left at 8.30am to go to universal studios. Got the bus to lax got the free bus hop on hop off not sure of the colour to the marina changed to the yellow and did the rest off the tour then the rest of the red ( saw all the sights of LA ). The caught the blue up to universal studio. Got our tickets and off we went straight down ...

      ... Flagstaff and LA, a heavy trucking route and the asphalt is about worn out. Trex didn't like the bumps and frequently had his ears back. We sympathized! During some of the long drives of our trip I have amused myself by taking "windshield shots", trying without much luck to get a few good ones out of hundreds!       ... beautiful trees, and nice cooling waterfall mist at the top. Ash had a bit of an old man moment coming back down, although I did pick the steeper of the two routes (unintentional I swear). The guide said 5-6 hours, but we legged it back in 4 hrs 15min, and I feel like I fully appreciated everything too, no rush. Both lots of our shoes held out perfectly, considering ash hadn't worn his boots in yet. ...
