... to the Battery area. So much renovation of amazing stately homes. Saw bumper sticker, Gut Fish, not Houses.
From Bay St. we could see Fort Sumter way in the distance. We passed on the shuttle boat to take us out there, but we visited the Museum. So much history.
Tomorrow we plan to make the 15 minute drive to Folly Beach, hoping to capture a Pat Conroy feeling.

... America town with a college/university feel to it. No food challenge here but can't wait to watch the episode again when we get home. It was getting dark and with lightening flashing across the cloudy sky we headed for our first trip to a Walmart to stock up on drink and get a cooler so we could take it to the beach the following day. Very quickly found a Days Inn motel at a good price so stopped here just to get our heads ...

... Jared got yelled at of the sprial staircase). We finished up all of our tours to late to catch the shuttle back to the campground so we took a bus home. Unlike the stop to head in to the city that was over a mile away the route actually turns around at the campground so we got dropped off right at the front gate.
