We woke up early to enjoy the beach and hoped to see dolphins but no luck. The beach was stunning though. We had breakfast and packed up to leave. They gave us a CD on check out from the Inn of romantic beach music! Such a nice touch. I was sad to leave. It was so nice there.
We ended up with a 7 hour drive plus the hour that ...
Woke up to the sound of thunder which is unusual for the morning but I do love storms. It was lightning late into the night which we could see nicely from our balcony and from our bed. I fell asleep to it. But there was no thunder…until this morning. We went to breakfast which was included and fabulous. All fresh food and chefs preparing eggs/omelets and cute little baby waffles. The key is proudly adorned with signs proclaiming it the #1 Beach in the USA. It was quite beautiful, but none of the beaches were dog friendly. That leaves it's rankings far below the #1 ranking it boasts, but I'll post photos and allow you to decide for yourself.
After an interminable ...
