... marijuana smell, makes Venice Beach a weird yet intriguing place to visit.

Strolling around for about an hour, we went into plenty of shops and did a lot of buying. There are some really cool California, Venice beach, gym related, and weed related singlets to get there that are customized. We were clearly told that the singlets are $25, and the design on it is $35. This was okay with us ...

Arrived at the hotel after another ****** experience with Hertz rental car. WTF hertz, get it together. The first car they gave me looked like stinky Mike and the boys had a hobo party in the back seat. Got to the hotel checked in and got my bearings. This ...

On wednesday I slept in after being tired from carnival and the night before. Felt really lazy so got breakfast and walked around hollywood boulevard for a bit.. Went back to the hotel got ready and took the subway from Hollywood and Vine to NOHO (which means North Hollywood) to meet up with Lody, a friend from the Netherlands. The subway was very quiet and the ticket machine very confusing, I gave some change to this (I assume) homeless guy who helped me out buying my tap card and add ...

... an accent, they all have the accent. When they ask where we are form we tell them, but Bec informs me that I have fallen into the bogan trap of replying 'Straya'. Memo to self, annunciate. I will be ensuring that in future, I pronounce it 'Australia'.
We continued our walk down to the Beverly Centre. After a couple of hours there, we walked back home, and headed off to the Original Farmers Market to grab some lunch. After finding a parking spot, we headed down for lunch. There is ...
