    ... treated us chicken enchiladas with homemade red sauce & Elisa made her mom's delicious chicken salad--to help tone down the "heat" from the red sauce!!! Sat. night, Diego came over & prepared tantalizing roast pork sandwiches & potato salad! Everything--EXCELLENT at the Cocina de Holguin!!! Well, it's a 107 degree goodnight from Weatherford, TX! We have been on the road since 2:30 a.m., so I will bid everyone goodnight! Onward ...

    ... have to unhook the truck. This will not do. So, I moved to another site, unlevel, get hooked up, the trailer is cooling down ever so slowly. I am sitting under a tree, smoking a cigar. Next is a glass of Jamison's. Needless to say, this KOA will not be on my return trip. And, I will write a non-flattering review.     ... enjoyed running around the barn and showed particular interest in one of the trainees, Penny. He was all smiles as he ran around and stood as tall as he could to get her attention. Adorable. We enjoyed some takeaway dinner from the Mesquite Pit in Mineral Wells and then headed back to Fort Worth for a night's sleep before our final day of flying.     ... immediately. They tore around off and on all evening and seemed to really get along well. The only problem is that neither of us remembered to take pictures of them together. Darn.
