After about 28 hours of traveling, I made it home. Saying goodbye to all my friends was difficult but I am lucky to have met all the great people I did. My last day in Viterbo, I took a few pictures just to remember Viterbo by. I had been taking so many pictures of places I traveled but rarely did I take pictures of the very place that became my home, and the place that I would miss the most. I am thankful ...

Seeing on Facebook that a few of my friends were out wine tasting... And I find out they were in Fredericksburg, TX !!! About a 4 hour drive! I invite myself! Due to my car situation--2000 Honda Civic with 260000 miles. I call Enterprise Rent a car, they stay open until I get there. I'm thrilled!!!! I go to Aledo's Football game, go home, pack.... Sleep for a bit and head down the road at ...

... see some of the things, but we also missed some of the others. Daddy did seem to enjoy the trains and that was one of the main reasons. At first the trains were not running, but when I expressed that was one of the reasons we were here, they started them. We were the only ones in the gardens. We ate lunch at a local BBQ place, then did some shopping. This morning before going to the gardens, we stopped at the Vietnam Nam Memorial. This time ...

      East and South

Sad day - We departed. The Angels headed East 400+ miles and the children headed south for their 700 mile journey back home to south Texas. Wendi and I went to the Carlsbad Caverns first thing this morning. Park opens at 8am and we took the first elevator down the 750ft cavern. Words and the couple photos that turned out just don't do it justice. We hadn't been there since we were very little. We walked one cavern, which was a ...
