So we've arrived in the sunshine state of Florida and South beach Miami in particular, where it's very hot and humid. We have a lovely boutique hotel on the famous Ocean Drive that allows us to walk across to the beach in a couple of minutes which is good - the water here is so warm!!! We've been taking it easy here as we near the end of our holiday. The first day we were here we just wandered around in the sun and walked along Ocean Drive and looked at ...

We like canoeing in the mangoves, didn't see too much wildlife, mainly birds, conch snails & lots of trees crabs but they move too fast for me to get a photo!

This is something we've never experienced before. A changeover where about 80% of the passengers are leaving and being replaced, and we're in the 20% who are staying on for the next leg. The Navigator holds about 490 passengers, so about 400 are leaving and 400 more are coming aboard today. We're going on an excursion. Of course, before we can ...

... of interest in Miami. Things like the home stadium of the Miami Heat, the rich part of town (which is actually an artificially made island inlet) and Miami Ink (from the show). Like I mentioned before, the traffic on the way home was rough. When we got back to Fort Lauderdale, we stopped in for dinner at this Mexican place called "Lime" and then grabbed some alcohol at a place called a "Total Wines". This is their equivalent of Dan Murphy's but cheaper. I bought a bottle of Jim ...
