This is a large nicely decorated, room with mounted LCD TV, a pullout sofa and recliner. Everything looks new and fresh. Room has both a desk and dresser, microwave, frig and great internet. Huge bathroom.

One of the better hotels we have stayed in on our trip.

The next day, we all gathered as a house for Sunday brunch, with pancakes and bacon (!) and eggs and those good things. However, during this meal we had a bit of very unfortunate news: bedbugs had been spotted in our house. It was only limited to three, in one room, but what this meant became quickly apparent, with my ...

Really lovely space and although the music was very odd we enjoyed the experience - there was a lot of park spaces to the downtown area looking out onto Lake Michigan. With large water fountains and and more water areas for the kids and adults to run through and cool down. The whole place even the ...

... read, and napped. Then had some awesome fish tacos and the best guacamole I've ever had in my life. And I love guacamole. Top it all off with some fried ice cream and lots of laughs and all is well. Now we're watching a movie about a man with 533 kids. It's been a good time so far, but we're going back home tomorrow. Back to work and real life. At least it's summer now. Peace out y'all. Until tomorrow ...

Fate had other plans for us. Joey’s beloved father passed away on January 6, 2013 exactly one month before Joey’s 50th birthday and just weeks before our departure. We knew what we had to do. With the vacation cancelled Joey headed off to Arizona to spend two weeks with his family, celebrating ...
