We visited Nick and Connie last night; at that time we agreed to meet at 10:00 am to go to the Big Boy for breakfast at their breakfast buffet. The key was 'bacon' . . . Carol really likes bacon on a breakfast buffet!
I had gotten up early . . . about 5:45 am . . . got dressed enough for a little hike uphill to the neighborhood Starbucks. This was about 3/8th of a mile . . . all uphill . . . but the downhill portion would be with a hot cup of java . . . ...
... recommneded it last time; it is close to where they live, easy to get to, and a well-kept older property. The rooms are clean and quite large with extra space for bags, etc.
We got settled and checked in at home. Then, made our way to Nick & Connie's. We visited until 11:00 pm, then called it a night. We made plans for them to pick us up for breakfast, then visit some of the attractions, including The Yooper Museum in Ispeming!! We turned in.
