      ... 16 stitches, not what his hand looked like before treatment. Although the gash was deep no tendon damage occurred and a full recovery is expected. He will see a hand specialist in the upcoming days just to make sure.

      For a guy who is a hockey goalie three times a week with razor sharp blades flashing within inches on a regular basis it is ironic that it was playing this old mans game that took him out.

      ... the drive-in movies. Monsters University, the prequel to Monsters Inc, our choice. $7 each and we get to watch on a huge screen in a parking lot 5 miles from the US-Mexican border. Strange but cool. So we parked our car up and I went to the concessions stand to buy our goodies (Sian had a slice of pizza and I had a chilli dog and popcorn).
