      ... with multiple cars (white and smug) virtually no black or hispanic people ..did.not.like but the beach and coastline were lovely and there were big gatherings of seal families, pelicans and cormorants on the rocks.       ... just north of San Diego, so had a rental car to pick up. That involved a bit of a wait, but soon enough we were on our way.
