... The coffee shop was still overflowing as I walked back home so I resisted again. Afternoon was for making my mum's now famous 1-1-1 slice for Feast in the evening. It was at Melvina's home,. I was honoured to meet more friendly open people and ended up in deep discussion with a neurological psychologist who has just submitted a paper to the White House to reform the education system! Tomorrow is Fort Worth to do a museum or two and to see some Texan Longhorn Cattle. ...

Denton (or as it's promoted online - 'little d') is a university town; or I should say a 2 universities town about the same size as Townsville. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs. Yep- gotta get a cholesterol check once we return ...

After a long - 15 hour 30 minutes we touched down safely at Dallas. We were met by Simon who lives about a 10 minute drive from the airport. It is cool about 9 degrees and overcast today. It was lovely meeting up with Christine, Larissa and Aiden. The street scene is quite similar to St Ives area. We went for ...

... Also AA still charges a fee for the "FREE" flights. We paid $5.00 for the flight out and $500.00 for the flight back. That fee is still less than if we flew coach. So, we are waiting to board the flight and start this next great adventure.

As flights go this one was above normal since we left on time and landed ahead of schedule. However, not ...
