Today the mission team leaving for Nicaragua on Saturday met to pack 14 crates - 50 lbs each to take with us. There were a variety of items included in the crates from school supplies, clothing and medical scrubs to Bibles, soccer balls, teddy bears, pillow case dresses, fudge, home sown shorts and beanie babies.

Well, somehow in all our careful planning, we managed to schedule our stay in Louisville on a NON-RACING DAY at Churchill Downs. It seemed like the biggest mistake of our entire trip!!
