    ... br> Lunch: Goode’s Barbecue for Texas style barbecue (brisket). Yum-yum! Brisket, cole slaw, Texas toast with jalapeņos, and beans. Jim had pinto beans with jalapeņos while Barbara had Austin style baked beans (beans, pork belly, pieces of brisket, red bell peppers, onions and apples-what a surprise). Both were delicious.

    Next we thought we’d shop at the Galleria Mall. Big mistake! ...

    My brain is tired. Today we spent 7 hours at the Johnson Space Center and now my brain is tired. I won't even attempt to describe all we did and all we learned but I assure you - it was an interesting, educational and inspirational day! After walking past the space shuttle, the REAL space shuttle (!) and realizing Jeff had forgotten to put the recharged battery back into the camera (oops), we entered the building. Yikes!     Another broken night's sleep and a bit of a late start with chilly weather.

    Rachael and Jared had already departed for work when we finally saw the light of day. A quick breakfast and then a short drive into the center of Houston to do a bit of shopping for essentials such as a stroller for Paige ($16.99 + Tax at Target) and a few other bits.

The two teenagers fell in love and got both the bikers and the surfers to help them free Brady and Mac and destroy the machine, which caused the storm to happen after all.
