      Changes I made

Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?

My favourite - because I think it is the cutest - is the Chinstrap penguin named for obvious reasons though I think the strap looks more like a smile. This penguin too is only black and white, and about the same size as the Adélie penguin.

The Gentoo penguin has a bright orange bill and a white ...

... up, the neighbourhood gets slightly better but not that much. The hotel was tucked away with high walls and warnings about trespassing. I enter and rather then an open office or lobby I talk through a glass window into a booth. I have had too many hotel rooms that stunk like smoke so I made sure that I had a non smoking room. The Indian who was working in the booth gave me a key and it was on the second floor. I headed up. I walked in and it stunk of smoke. I went back down ...
