    ... MS at a private campground. The luxury of this campground was the private pool! We spent every afternoon cooling down in the pool. We got up very early to ride to beat the heat. We rode from Pontotoc to Ecru on the Tangelfoot Trail. This rails to trails ride was extremely beautiful. We rode 15 miles the first day and returned to ride it again the following morning from the city of Houston.

    ... headed for Sandy Hook and my niece, Amanda, and her husband's, Ethan, home.     Now, as far as national parks - - yesterday I stopped at Little Rock Central High School historic site... Most of my generation probably knows almost nothing about this since it was in 1957 - sure we've heard about it, maybe breezed past it in history class, but they have a nice visitor's center set up there, with a very good set of exhiits, where you can really learn about the events that happened there and see ...

    ... a lovely lunch by the beach, in a little independant called Camille's - recommended, if ever. The trafiic around the major beach towns slowed us down quite a bit and with the weather forecast we decided to definitely head north when we could, so we cracked onto Mobile, Alabama. We did this heading north out of Destin onto a new piece of highway passed an Airforce Base which meant we crossed over "Special Forces Road"(!) and blasted up to the I10 ...
