      ... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs.       Today we went to The Fort Worth Stockyards. The first thing we saw was a cattle drive which was cool. Cowboys were steering bulls around the street of the stockyard. We then went to a gun fight. It should not be called a gun fight as there were only single shots of the gun. They used real guns but only blanks.
