Cont'd Another long bus ride took us to dinner in Maine. The restaurant was called Buck's Naked Barbecue. Mr. Nish thought everyone needs to undress before going into the restaurant. They had Pool tables, foosball, and a jukebox. The girls were playing the jukebox a lot. Mr. Nish played a few songs that no one liked. Fortunately the hotel was 5 minutes away. But now we have a study session. Peace out! Krislyn and Courtney

Portland, Maine, United States gocarygo... to share was more than enough to stuff us silly. We sat and ate them in big wooden chairs next to the camp fire that was burning away in an attempt to stave off the chill of the autumn morning.

As the site is really nice and well cared for, even at this late stage of the season, we had decided to stay for another night and so waddled across to reception to book in. Then we waddled to the phone to call ...
Saco, Maine, United States thebusmonkeys... Wow what a stunning drive this was, firstly we stopped by the winter ski resort of Stowe, a tiny village with interesting stores and eateries in a woodland setting backed by the Green Mountains. Just down the road is Ben & Jerry's original Ice Cream plant, we could not resist the tour of the production line and of course the tasting room! We we able to try their new flavour a mixture of chocolate fudge brownie and cookie dough, yummy! We then ...
Freeport, Maine, United States andyfreshwater... don't have to provide barbecue pits but that said, other countries do (Singapore, Australia) and they are free, completely free. I am beginning to wonder if Americans believe they should pay for everything. The park wasn't manned and the gate was open so we went in anyway (we would've left if it had been any different). Nice but not great, I think we were influenced by the fact that we were supposed to pay for this, so many places in England (Lake ...

After college I moved to Freeport, ME in 1994 where I worked at the infamous retail store, L.L. Bean, which had always been a dream of mine. I then moved to Martha's Vineyard, MA to be with my college sweetheart, Alex. We got ...
