    Although we had planned on 6 months we made it 113 days and Terry drove the motorhome 7,478 miles and 6,480 in the Jeep totaling 13,958.

    We saw everything we wanted to see and were lucky to have good weather every where we went until we hit the south and got the rain and humidity.

    Our next journey will continue next year....Stay tuned.

    Our last day in Florida was spent in beautiful, historic, St. Augustine’s. A definite tourist attraction filled with lovely homes and lots of taverns, restaurants and shops. There are a couple cool looking sailing vessels there too. We had another fantastic meal in a restaurant called Harry’s Seafood. If you go, order the She Crab soup, it was the best I’ve ever eaten!

    ... would hit us broadside as we entered the marina channel. Having a very heavy boat, we did not take that warning too seriously, especially after surviving the grounding. Silly, silly us. We should have realized no boat is a match for tons of water pushing in one direction. I tell you that current slammed into our Calliope so hard we were knocked sideways and both engines went out.
