      ... Every vaulter
      in the field did a PB with the winner, Chappelle from France improving
      by about 20cms. They just kept jumping out of their skins! In the Men's
      Discus Matt Denny and Mitchell Cooper threw well gaining 4th and 5th
      spots overall. An excellent effort though it would have been nice to get
      another medal. Both the 4x400 relay teams made it though to the final
      and the day ended with the USA taking out both 4x100 relays.

      The beach continued on for three kilometres. In the tidal pools the ocean left for us to peer into, were some orca stars, magenta, azure and vivid orange and many dark muscles stuck to the hard rocks in little pools of water.
