    Defuniak Springs is close to Pensacola. I rode US 331 south to US 98 West through Miramar Beach, Destin and Fort Walton Beach to Pensacola. It was a beautiful cool morning but US 98 is not on the beach. I stopped in at Pensacola Harley Davidson for a coffee and phone call break around 10am.     Glad to be staying at a hotel. It is so hot out here. It is 95 degrees but feels like 103. Yow! We were going to camp at a place with a water park but it is to hot. I was glad to here we were going to stay at a hotel. We went to visit Bret Favre's home town. Small. The town was called Kiln. We went out to eat at a sea food joint. Mmmmm yummy yummy.     ... I thought.) after all. It was a semi-tractor trailer broken down right in the very center of the left lane. Ugggh!

    Once past the roadblock the "fun" began. Ben took the lead because his GPS was protected from the rain and I had put mine in my waterproof saddlebag. The lady at the register was a bit snippy at first and when I said I was a senior and Cheryl wasn’t, she asked which discount I wanted to use.
