I am still at home. Only one more week. Being away from my home for three weeks requires a lot of preparation. I even know the movie that are going to have on the Flight. I am tired already!! Since I will be on a plane for almost 24 hours, I am collecting all the necessary stuff needed to be comfortable. <br>

Oh Detroit (or rather Detroit suburbia), how you have saved my Michigan experience! <br><br>I was already excited to travel to "Detroit" because I knew I was going to get to see Anne, my friend from grad school who I haven't seen since we both graduated. Then it just kept getting better and better. She managed to score us tickets to see her boyfriend's new show... and not just any show my friends... Evil Dead: The Musical!!!! I was so excited. We grabbed a quick dinner ...

Phew... Going through US Customs was a bit trying... No searching but a lot of questions meant - I supposed - to catch us with something bad... Who knows. We did not loose any meal. We're in the middle of a fairground, with a weak WiFi but OK. The only analog TV channels are from Detroit but the Detroit area offers 22 digital channels, many <br><br>Longer day than expected but we grinded the flying condo to a halt. No problem other than a sticking lock on the propane door.

I went here for the FarmHouse fraternity formal. It was fun becasue you could go and gamble and drink before you turned 21. Other then going for the partying I didn't really find Windsor to be that cool of a place and now that I am 21 I don't really have any desire to go back.

... play game. My dad got me hooked on the 'writing the smallest and tidiest characters' game. When he's around, we would compete to write the smallest and tidiest characters, and when he's gone sailing, I would practice on my own so that I could beat him. That contributed to my good handwriting. I even jointed Chinese character writing competition when I was at secondary school. What about you? What was your favourite childhood game?

My favorite thing was to wake up and had 2 big bowls of congee. Maybe this is more of a reminder to the loving home cooking and mom. I have made congee at home today and will think of mom when I take it. Time to go for a nap!
