... itinerary on a daily basis, seem to be the norm for Rhonda and I. Makes for an interesting evening of planning the next day. We continue to call our way, "the adventures of Mike & Rhonda". We have been doing it pretty much by ear since we started back in the 80's. It has worked, so why change now?

We found a Ramada Inn just off the interstate at Poughkeepsie. Tomorrow, we plan to do I 84 to Scranton which was actually today's final destination. Then we turn south on I 81 to Winchester. If we make good time, we will escape from the highway to try our luck on the back roads again.
5 am wake-up so I am off to bed now.
... On November 9th, after arriving in Beijing China, we will make our way to Yantai, where we will spend a year studying at Kunyu Mountain Shaolin Matrial Arts Academy.

... my trip, looking forward to a relaxing evening with Maher. Last night we had a burger and frozen yogurt, I found a monastery in Canada I'm planning on visiting, I scheduled an oil change, and I finished three of the 12 things on my errand list. These evenings are surprisingly productive. Additionally, I am at 68% victory ratio on Spider Solitaire; tonight may be the night I make it to 70!

... I pulled into Port Chester around 2 PM. I noticed very quickly that there were many signs in Spanish. I felt like I had just pulled into a latin American country. Papusas, pollo a la brassa, tiendas. I also noticed I was one of the only white people! This seemed like a very odd place for a concert venue, but it was oddly comfortable for me. After spending a lot of time in Latin America I have really come to love and embrace the culture.
