... too Upon entering Atlanta, we were reminded just how much we despise I-285...probably more so than usual since we've been in relatively low population & traffic areas for a month. Seriously, wildlife (usually bison) was the cause for the worst traffic we've experienced in the past month. Now, we have emptied the truck, taken care of the cat, done the first round of going through the mail, and at least started dealing with getting stuff ...
... even want BCD staff to be located in their area (or even on-site). As I mentioned, the tight-nit structure allows the company to be considerably flexible in its client relationships. In contrast to competitors, BCD has foregone the cookie-cutter approach and, in so doing, shows how it can take on the world.
PS - I also discovered today how BCD was involved in the relief effort surrounding Hurricane "Sandy"! This company is full of surprises.

Friday 6/28 - stopped by the conference for breakfast and to say goodbyes. Hotel shuttle to the airport, flew to Atlanta. Mike met me at the baggage claim. Drove to the house. Hillary and Jameson came over and I got to meet my great-nephew! He was even wearing the Texas onesie I sent him - adorable! Later we (Mike, Hillary, Colleen, Aldo, Barb, Jameson, me) all went to "Mia's Pizza and Eats" for dinner - it was delicious! Got one ...
Well, with suitcases and boxes, hopes and dreams loaded in the van the gang is off on the trip. Just before they left, the kids were playing hide and seek in the luggage and big sister was really trying to tell Brady what to do (not going so well). Not only is the group taking suitcases of clothes, toys, food, diapers, and car seats, but also letters of the alphabet (at least an A).
