If you live in the south, you never get snow, you don't even expect it! When the rare time comes around that you ACTUALLY get snow, all hell breaks loose! Even if it is a few flurries, you break everything warm out you have, and act like it is a freakin' blizzard!! Or at least that is what we do in my house. We treated ourselves to breakfast delivery to the room at 9am, as we were all up late because of the time difference of 2 hours. After packing up, we walked across the street to walk over the Waco Suspension Bridge which, when it was built in 1870, was the longest suspension bridge west of the Mississippi. ... the sun shining brightly. Not too cold, but with the wind blowing it was chilly. Didn't stay out long since my eyes started itching again. Cedar fever is still hanging around and I was walking under cedar trees so Now I'm paying for it. While walking toward the lake, noticed three trees laden with mistletoe. ... so decided I would stuff insulation in there and then we can add some decorative trim to cover it. Jim & Laura came over for dinner, we pooled our resources and Jim made fried rice.
