      November 4th
      In the morning Lynn and I hit the swamp, hurp-hurp. We went for a tour on the Manchac Swamp.
      Lotsa gators, turtles and spooky history stories. Very pretty.

I am not confident that my mind isn't playing tricks on me, but I ask Anne about it in the morning and she says that it's not uncommon, but usually there's a man riding it. Go figure!       Today we drove across the Old Choctaw Trail to the historic towns of Clinton, and Jackson, Louisiana. We were held up at Greensburg by another parade- apparently fall is the parade time of year down here!       ... down the road for a smoke stop. In fact we didn't stop again until Baton Rouge which was lucky because we nearly missed our connection.
