          ... mode of transport there and 1 in 60 Alaskans own a plane. Then we stopped at Trail Breaker Kennels to hear a talk from David Monson about the dogs. His wife was Susan Butcher, 4 time winner of the Iditarod sled dog race. She passed away from leukemia in 2006, but her widow and daughters continue to keep the kennel going and drive sled dog teams.

          There was a tour company in Vietnam that many had used. I liked the fact that the woman with whom I made contact arranged the tours for all three of our ports in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Danang, and Hanoi.
