We're now further up the coast in St. Pete's Beach, FL. Sunny Florida has gone a bit cool on us with cloudy skies. We walked on the beautiful St. Pete's beach every day, sometimes twice a day, and generally relaxed, reading and watching tv. This is a summer vacation town and there's not much else to do here, especially in the off season.

After a couple days, we drove north to the Florida panhandle, staying for the weekend in ...

There were a lot of water rides which, on a cool ...

... the warm bay water but all to soon it was time to head back. Ace took a risk letting Di drive the boat, luckily we was in open water so there was nothing she could hit lol Once back at Kay's we washed the boat and then had dinner, Kay cooked fresh pulled pork with beans and corn on the cob, very yummy. Sat around chatting for a while but as time was now getting on we said our goodbyes and came ...

      ... some retail therapy.

I hired a car upon arrival and have been visitng a few local places including Treasure Island, Dunedin, and Tarpon Springs, the latter being a lovely little coastal town famous for it's sponge diving Greek community, so needless to say (and under orders from my Dad) I have picked up some natural sponges to bring back to the UK with me, not to mention sampling a Greek 'Gyro' for lunch, which is just like ...
