    ... 15 minutes. Once they were over, you only did realize that there were a ton of other people that also watched them. Getting to the car was a challenge and then leaving the parking lot was another one. Once we got out of the area, we brought Mom back to her apartment and then headed home to rest and then go to bed.

    Overall, we had a great day. We went to three places to celebrate Canada Day this year... ...

    While driving back to Brockville, we thought we'd stop in Walmart when we got back to the city - get something to eat and go back to Mom's apartment to eat.

    The parking lot of Walmart is now the home of a very large Canadian flag. There was a flag raising ceremony today but we missed it when we went to Cornwall. The flag is HUGE....

    Mom and I made sure we got our picture taken with Steve Clark. Steve Clark was once the youngest mayor in Canada. He is now an MPP.
