... there was excellent dock help and after pumping and dumping, we were assisted to our slip and proceeded to settle in.

It was a good berth. We had a terrific view of the bay and sunset. Because there was a good deal of daylight left, First Mate went exploring while the Captain assessed the damage to Calliope. We walked around the quaint town, did some driving sightseeing and had lunch at the beach. It pretty much rained all day, but at least it wasn't cold or windy. Looking forward to tomorrow with improved weather and a trip to Cumberland Island. ...

... us from plunging 200 feet down." However when we got past those supports, a huge gust caught us, and moved us over several feet closer to the edge, but Jeff regained control and we continued on our way fighting the wind until we got to Brunswick. Once there the T.V. kept telling us about those tornado warnings passing right through our area. At one point when Kathie was preparing dinner a gust rocked the RV so strongly ...
