Last time I was here I remember having to stop at LLBean to buy a t-shirt, because even though it was early November it was sunny and in the 70s and I was not prepared. Fun day! LaureAnn and I drove over to Salem, Massachusetts for all things witchy! What a beautiful day. the drive was wonderful - lots of great conversation, story swapping, beautiful scenery, and then Salem itself.

We walked around, visited a couple of the sites, one being the only structure left from the witch trial period. That is the home of Judge Corwin.

      ... favorite German dishes.

Had a great room at the Holiday Inn Express. Great staff there too.

Next morning I got up and walked down to Locust Grove. This had been the summer home of Samuel Morse. Later it was bought by the Young family, they added to the property and made arrangements for it to be protected and preserved. Lovely property, even in the rain. Walked back to the hotel and met up ...
