Jerry was still not feeling well, so tried to nap while I went out to get genuine cashmere street scarves for stocking and christmas swap gifts. Another grey cold day but still in 40s!     ... we went back to hotel for a few hours before trying at 5pm to get a cab for the Blue Note. That was really a challenge for the hotel guy and it took probably 20+ minutes! But we eventually got one and got there about ten of 6... Perfect time to get in line and wait for doors to open at 6.     Although above freezing, the day was grey, damp and threatening rain. After a nice breakfast in the small dining room ( pastries, fresh fruit), we bundled up and went to walk.
