... for knowing the Gospel and making it known."

I am not sure exactly where I came across that quote but I have made it a daily prayer. I consider it a profound honor to be able to carry the Gospel,(as does our whole team) to answer the call in Romans 10: 14-15, "How will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent?"

For some of us, we simply need to obey the call--it might be across the globe to South Africa, ...

Edisto Island, South Carolina - Day One

... death. Especially after she took in a good mouthful of salt water and possibly a bite of sand.

It was dark and the ocean was just too much. Copper jumped backward repeatedly and I heard my youngest daughter, Hannah, cry "She is going to get out of her harness". And she did. Showing signs of her hound, one would think greyhound, genes, she ran like a bat out of hell straight back up the path to the main road of the island. Four adults and two teenagers ran, hearts in ...

Well, we had a little bit of excitement around here yesterday. We all went for our long walk in the morning. We saw the egrets nesting in the trees over the pond by the golf course. There were hundreds of them! After our walk and my humans had breakfast Daddy went to 'hit golf balls' again. I hope he doesn't hurt them! Mommy and I went for a short walk and on the way back I found part of a candy bar! I picked it up quickly, but Mommy was ...

      Winter, Round Two

      ... dark all day
and yes, this is winter. Tomorrow the south will awaken to sunshine,
blue skies, and mild weather but it will still be winter. Tomorrow
things will start to improve but the memory of this storm will linger
      awhile.

As we walk along the beach today,
wrapped and bundled against the wind and cold, I wonder if the ocean
knows or even cares that it is winter?

      Shalom,

Enjoyed a bus tour of Historic Savannah and ate lunch at the 'Whistle Stop' in a old railroad car. Had some very good fried green tomatoes and okra along with our sandwiches.

Drove out to Tybee Island to see the light house and was invited by a very nice man to enjoy the ocean from their private beach.

Also drove to Hilton Head, South Carolina to explore the island and see its light as well.
