    ... the harmless Banana Spider.

Second attempt a go. After confirming we didn't have a burly man, blow torch or hazmat suit in the trunk, I found a long twisted stick to wield in front of us, shroud my head and shoulders in a green scarf with magenta roses, as if I was Harry Potter in his Invisible Cloak, and began tentatively walking in a crouched position, Leslie at my back, coward that she is. We then had a lovely dinner in downtown Beaufort ...

There is also a huge bathtub in the unit that they wanted to use right away. The one downside is that we found out the wi-fi in our unit is basically non-existent. I panicked at first but have since walked myself back from the ledge. I GUESS it's not the end of the world ...

Friday we did the car tour of Beaufort, St. Helena Island, Lady’s Island, Habersham, Port Royal, and outskirts, clearly deciding this is not the area for us. Beaufort is a quaint small town with historic homes, churches, and the Beaufort National Cemetery, a much smaller version of Charleston. Friday night at the Waterfront Park, Sgt. Dan of Forrest Gump and the Sgt. Dan Band were performing a concert to honor the Wounded Warriors, and ...
