The visitors centre in this State Park (which surprisingly stayed open despite the government shut-down debacle) had a great sign on a small fence surrounding yet another swamp - I won't spoil the surprise as I have included it as a photo! There is also a huge bathtub in the unit that they wanted to use right away. The one downside is that we found out the wi-fi in our unit is basically non-existent. Friday we did the car tour of Beaufort, St. Helena Island, Lady’s Island, Habersham, Port Royal, and outskirts, clearly deciding this is not the area for us.
