      ... must have been the Red Bull. We even got to drive by Paula Dean's famous Savannah restaurant, Lady & Sons. The most appealing thing about Savannah was their town squares. Originally there were 24 squares within the historic downtown (now only 22) that allowed the residents of the 1700's to mix, mingle and socialize.

      ... see along the way. The only walking part is to the beach and on the beach. The walk to the beach is a half a mile trail through two wetlands. The birds are incredible. Painted Buntings, Tanagers, Bluebirds, Warblers, Herons, Woodpeckers, Osprey, Eastern Screech Owl, Doves, white Ibis, to name a few. We do not know them all.       ... like the day before. Drive, stop, go potty. About mid-afternoon we got to a place with with lots of boats and lots of scents I've never smelled before.       ... no rain. We spent the first evening on the beach, but since then it has been cloudy, in the 60s mostly, and windy on the beach. The last two days we spent hiking park trails through the jungle-like setting and seeing birds and other wildlife: deer, raccoons (a Mama and three babies), grey squirrels climbing palmetto palms, and marsh crabs.
