We had two days of bike riding here and spent three nights. I think it was our second day of riding that we saw gators. I had just sent David a text, saying we were hunting for gators, and I looked out on the lake and saw one swimming in. The park really cleared out today with only 3 campers on our loop. It was busy yesterday with locals and a number of Scout Troops. There are cabins here, showers and miles of ...

We'll be moving on tomorrow via an old/new route for us. We'll be avoiding Interstate 10 and traveling through small towns on US90 Alternate. It will be a nice break for us and hopefully more relaxing. It's beautiful and green everywhere here, so we hope to enjoy it at a more leisurely pace. You just might agree...

We walked nearly two miles and saw even more birds. I got some decent shots, which I will put you know where. TADA! www.flickr.com/photos/ralphieboyo.

We got back to our site, washed the mud from our shoes and here we sit. No storm yet, but it has cooled down to about sixty-five degrees. Calm and green! Those are two of our favorite colors.

We'll be here through tomorrow night, so check back for a bit more adventure.

... fond memories of college life. Nice to catch up. We are virtually. On the coastal dour camp site is directly on Canney Creek. I am really eying the location. The site is just off the intercostal waterway as well. It is very flat here and you can see for miles in any direction. Our travel here was eventful, in that we had a flat ...
