Well we have come to the final part of our road trip. We're stating with Brian and Adele whom we've met on our cruise to Antarctica. They are the reason we are doing this road trip, because they invited us to come over.

We visit some nice places in South Texas, For instance Galveston where we did the sculpture tour. Lots of people ...

and chill over Connor Pass. We understand that weather was unpleasant
both before and after we were ...

D-I-L and grandson drove us to Bush International in Houston
(after a wee detour to retrieve G's forgotten hearing aids) and then
they headed for Boerne, Texas to attend family graduations. The flights
to Newark and then on to Shannon were uneventful. Sound didn't work on
          G's movies but oh ...

We'll, we hurried into the Lone Star State trying to beat the Sunday night traffic around Houston, and we almost made it. My, those freeways must get really snotty around rush hours. Don't make any hasty assumptions but my first sight of the Houston skyline was a smog obscured glimpse behind a billboard touting a gun show seen through a rapidly moving wall of semis on I 10. However, I remain duly impressed. This huge megalopolis looks busy and rich. Glad to get by ...
