We boarded a plane on Saturday night, 2/1, leaving LAX at 11pm and arriving in Sao Paolo (GRU airport) at around 4:30pm. The flight was smooth and easy and because of the timing it was easy to sleep away the hours. I watched a few movies (A Good Day to Die Hard, and About Time). Sunday morning walk up to the Jardim Orquideas and then back down the along the marginal before lunch in the mercado.
A lot of flowering trees and things... noticed a liguiambar (from the states) in the jardim... also a teeny tiny apple like plant... it seems pretty happy.
