    ... to San Antone in the past - when Patrick and Cathy lived here, the Thanksgiving we saw the River Parade here with the Dots, my overnight trip to the zoo with the Girl Scouts, Kelly's days in San Antonio high society, etc. Walked around a bit and went to Mad Dog's pub for a digestif and to read our books. Back to the hotel, a bit of TV, then zonked out.

    San Antonio is big enough to be important but small enough to retain it's character and charm. People come to see the Alamo, which is well worth it, but there is more to see. From the tranquil yet commercial River Walk to the cosy small bars that line the way, it all feels quite homely.

    ... thru retirement). We arrived home about 5pm and did some unloading. The rest will wait until tomorrow. During this trip we traveled 1718 miles and stayed in 6 camp grounds. Had to buy a new sewer hose, which someone stepped on the first time we used it, and had to buy a new GPS, but this one is better. Had fun and looking forward to the next ...
