Elyse was nervous but composed. She looked beautiful as she had a wonderful young lady named Elspeth doing her makeup and hair. Elyse danced well but regretfully out of 118 dancers, she was not recalled to dance her set. She was disappointed, but she's had a hard year after breaking her foot and then having a chest infection for 6 weeks. We were pleased that she held her own, pushed herself, and danced ...
... our old pal Norm at "Cheers" bar. They had an old episode of Cheers playing in the bar.............man do I feel old!!!!! When the day was over I felt even older. After walking all day, sitting in the car for 40 minutes getting back to camp, we looked, and felt pretty old trying to get out of the truck. We both stooped just a little and it seemed like such a long walk from the truck to our bed!

Thus ended our two day stand in Acushnet! Off to Fall River, MA to visit with Jo Ann (the circus sponsor from a few days ago) and her family and then we'll be making our way to Douglas, MA for a lot & license day on Monday.
In exactly 7 days Neil and I will be fulfilling one of our wildest dreams!
Our itinerary begins in Paris France. Things we plan to see are: Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Champs Elysees, Les Catacombs, Notre Dame, Montmarte, Epernay Champagne, and so so so so so much more!
