Moved to the Elk County fairgrounds. The tech came here to repair the scratch that came from the factory on the front cap. He got here just as we were leaving and the scratch was gone when we got back.

Mike and Nena were our travel guides for the day and we went out to lunch and supper walked along the beach front in Saint James, Michigan. It is amazing when you meet someone and it feels ...

The repair place had to do the last two repairs here at the fairgrounds. We will be leaving here Monday heading to Iowa.

... I just kept myself on Esther (2.5 year-old) duty the whole time.

While there weren't really any "wow" features of the museum, the kids kept busy the entire time we were there. Even Isaac (14) found exhibits to interact with for almost the entire time. The exhibits and activities contained a nice mix of mental and physical engagement that could draw the kids in like ...

... but this has changed over the years but football still is god. There is a huge stadium which is just for football and hosts about 6 games a year. Their football season is only about 11 games. Seems such a waste to have a facility so underutilised.

Then we headed for St Joseph's Lighthouse. This was a lighthouse I had hoped I would see but it was so far down the Lower Michigan Peninsula that we did not see it at the beginning of our trip but it was not ...
