... longer, but after a while the rain stopped. On a whim I decided to buy a ticket for 'Matilda' (knowing I would also be going to 'Aladdin' that evening). So I spent that day for the greater part in the theatre. And I enjoyed every minute of it.
That made the total score for musicals in New York (so far): 5 shows. Newsies, Rocky, If/then, Matilda and Aladdin.
... are 2 square holes in the ground where the towers used to be that have water cascading down 2 levels into a pool. Around the edges of the pools they have all the names of the victims.
After the memorial we walked a couple blocks to visit Wall Street. Obvoliously there were lots of financial buildings and men in suits walking around. We walked to 'The Charging Bull' statue and got some photos before leaving the financial district.
... wasn't as pleasant a visit as last year but lots of ladies found something to buy. Time only permitted about an hour and a half though another half hour or so would have been better. Oh well that's what you get when you're on a schedule. We're now close to our destination for tonight.....Somerset New Jersey where we're going to have dinner at Olive Garden....an Italian restaurant chain. We have wifi on the bus this leg of the tour so decided I'd do my blog now to free up tonight ...
We had decided to leave Brooklyn for the weekend, and my word what a choice! The sun was shining gloriously, and we got to see our first group of Amish people, just before a little argument reference what to eat before crossing Brooklyn bridge. (We ate nothing). We did however manage to put aside our differences for an unmissable 'selfie' (Which can be found on Facebook in ‘Selfie in every city’).

... to the Super Bowl, none of the plays had a Sunday evening performance so we went to Little Italy and found a restaurant/bar, with a TV. It was loud. We were under one of the big TVs. It was packed with supporters. And the team that Andrew was barracking for, the Seahawks, absolutely caned the other team, the Denver Broncos. Excellent pizza. Excellent cocktails. Excellent dessert.
