... br> After bringing in the bags and spending about an hour looking for a lost wallet (Mark Jeffs), we had some lunch at a little diner and then headed up to Deadwood and Lead for a bit of a look. There were bikes everywhere. Someone said that they are expecting 1.3 million people to attend this 75th Anniversary rally. We are heading into Sturgis tomorrow, so will be a sight to see.

We came back to the house at about 4pm to meet up with Chris and ...

Today we are doing the badlands loop. Staying at Custer state park for the next two nights! On the way into the park we found a place where we could feed prairie dogs!! Awesome!!! On the way out we stopped by Wall's drug...the largest drug store in the world. Ate some delicious homemade ice ...

... I checked on the GPs, and the final descent from Mt Rushmore to Keystone is a 10% grade and the road drops almost 1000 ft in less than 2 miles. It's great!
Tomorrow, we bid farewell to the Black Hills of South Dakota as we head south and west for the next couple of days as we head to the base of the Grand Tetons. We can hardly wait!

          ... Dakota.
Had lunch at a nice little diner in Newcastle before driving onto Custer, the gateway to Mt Rushmore. It was a very touristy place, we had a look around an Justin picked up a couple of things for Cooper.
Then it was time to drive up to Rushmore in threatening weather again, seeing the Crazy Horse carving on the way. We made it in and paid the entry fee before walking up to the monument, the 4 presidents were very ...

... Factory. The factory was bigger than anything I could've imagined, featuring its own water system, waste processing plant, and even a coal power plant. It doesn't have the comfortability of some microbreweries I've been to, but the size was impressive. A quick stop in the gift shop and we decided to make our way to South Dakota. Still feeling weird, I finally figured out what was going on. Since I had stayed with friends for the last week, this was the first portion of ...
