    ... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs. Yep- gotta get a cholesterol check once we return ...

    ... aspects of the south. The Stockyards used to be an area where cattle such as sheep, lamb, cow, or any other farm animal could be slaughtered for food, or auctioned off to other farmers. Sooner rather than later business had began to suffer. Now, The Stockyards main attractions are the touristy shops, and the rodeo.


    For many newcomers the Stockyards provide plenty of shops for tourist to purchase cheesy ...

    Generally I am a big proponent of slowing time down. I am not obsessed with trying to recapture my youth on live for eternity, it just seems like every year and every month is lived and chronicled as history quicker and quicker when I pause to reflect on where I'm at and where I have been.     ... m also taking a larger suitcase instead of just carry on stuff this time. I'm considering trying to switch to the carryon, but I have to be careful since it becomes checked luggage on the smaller Star Peru flight that I'm taking at 8:00 tomorrow morning. I'll probably play around with it, but I don't want anything that'll possibly be damaged getting thrown in the plane's underbelly.
