Before the morning meetings, I walked a little bit around town, in the cool air, past the FedEx stadium and to Beale Street, the center of the music scene. After a couple of sessions in the morning, I got my rental car (which was a surprisingly slow process -- the guy on duty wanted to wash it twice) and headed out of town. Maybe it comes from the huge loss of life through wars and famine, or maybe from the Buddhist teachings, I'm not sure. I spent time with three of the local families and it was the same in all three.

... the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Now, I am headed back to Paragould and Batesville in Arkansas to say goodbye to the family and complete packing and doing last minute things needed for my trip. I go to Paragould first. It's good to see Danny and Trinity (his poodle) again. The next few days Danny and I do a lot of running around together, mostly it's him taking me to run errands. Danny has ...
