That’s the last of our 2009 travels. Till our next trip, we'll keep singing Willy Nelson's "On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again..."

Today was absolutely beautiful in Springfield; sunny and high 70s. The show only ran to 2:00 so we were able to get on the road pretty quickly. Got home just after 5:00.
Walked around the city a bit more this morning and checked out the State Capital building-very cool.

We reached the Entrance to the woods at around 7:45AM. The Welcome center was closed and not due to open till 9:00AM. Rather than wait till then, we decided to strike out with the help of the map I downloaded to my phone. iPhone Rocks! ;-)

Today was car show day in the Collinsville Convention Center. Fortunately it was all indoors as it rained most of the day. Unfortunately the Gateway Camaro Club couldn't have their outdoor car show, which is always a great gathering as well.

We'll we're on our way. According to Google Maps we've got just over 5 hours ahead of us until we reach Cedar Falls, IA. We're filming the track portion of our Weekend with Arnie DVD.
