      ... of the Rockies. Vancouver Airport was efficient and attractive. Aside from the usual bilingual signs there were ones in Chinese, reflecting the huge rise in immigration. Caught the Skytrain - a legacy from the 2010 Winter Olympics - followed by the bus. It was lovely to see Angela again and she welcomed me with a rum and mango juice on the rocks.       We hit Market Street and Union Station just in time for the furious rush hour, when thousands try to cross the bridges into Illinois after work. We sat for an hour waiting for our turn to enter the MLK Bridge. As I passed into Illinois, I noticed the fuel light was on. I could feel the car begin to stall. That meant I had to do the unthinkable and exit in East Saint Louis for gas.

      Today was a beautiful day and we tried to take advantage of it. We started with a trip up in the John Hancock Tower to soak up the views. And they were awesome. The buildings/city, the beautiful lakefront drive, and Lake Michigan. Very interesting. Then we headed over to Millennium Park. We had a delicious lunch in the Park Grill.
