We milled about a bit, listening to a conspiracy guy telling us about how much the government has lied to us, he proved his point by showing some very gruesome "autopsy" photos. Whether he made his point or not, he put more than a few tourists off their brekky. ... into flames, much to everyone's amusement.

However, the best was yet to come. RODEO! We went to Cowtown Colleseum, which is the site of the earliest indoor rodeo in the world. Strangely, for someone who loves old westy stuff, I had never been to a rodeo. The next two hours were great fun. I loved it!

It was a long night by the time we got home, but it was a great night. I love Texas

As we drove back toward Burleson, we made a detour to pick a rental car at a stop on the freeway. Well, they say everything is bigger in Texas, and that certainly applies to the waiting time at the care rental offices. After an hour or so, we were presented with a Hyundai Accent. It had Missouri plates on it, so I can only presume the wait was because they had gone there to pick it up for us.

Sad day - We departed. The Angels headed East 400+ miles and the children headed south for their 700 mile journey back home to south Texas. Wendi and I went to the Carlsbad Caverns first thing this morning. Park opens at 8am and we took the first elevator down the 750ft cavern.
