        8/14 Day 53 We are still camped at Florence OR and spent the day sightseeing along the coast. We started out headed north and were going to go straight up to Devil's Punchbowl, but we got so hooked on some of the scenic overlooks we stopped a few times first.

        ... and plentiful - the time restraints prohibited us from exploring in detail as we needed to head on down to the zoo, so I took some photographs and ran back up to the main road to be picked up. Sure enough, the bus arrived on schedule and we made our way to the zoo. Arriving at the gates, I asked about student discount which they didn't do.         ... got a few photos. We could have stayed at Cannon Beach a lot longer and both think it's our favourite place on the trip so far :-). A couple of photos are attached. On Sunday we headed east for the relatively short drive of 1.5 hours to the city of Portland. There is a great vibe here and it is famous for its breweries so Glenn is one happy man!!!
