    ... our journey south. The bus seemed quite new, but was like a sauna. Literally. For the first 20 minutes, it was horrendous.     ... spent the day today (Monday) exploring the city. The weather has been gorgeous again (about 90 degrees F). We had a fantastic lunch at the Deschutes Brewery pub and the a good wander around taking everything in. We visited The famous Powells Bookstore which is the biggest in America and takes up a whole block!! Just having a nice drink in the sunshine before finding somewhere for dinner later.     ... ATMs don't like our travel cards so had to find 7eleven and get some cash. We eventually got home. Today was the day we did some driving and sight seeing outside the city.
