    ... too. You don't see as many brilliant oranges and reds as in the eastern mountains but the deep yellows of the aspens spotting the mountainsides is good eye candy. (Aside: Just crossed the Mississippi River on the California Zephyr.) Sleeping on the train last night wasn't as bad. We're farther from the whistle and I guess we're just getting used to it.     ... not too bad. The next flight from Frankfurt to Denver was 9 hours 10 minutes. So glad when that was finished.

    We had a long wait at Immigration at Denver airport but then progressed through everything else quite quickly. We found the shuttle bus for our hotel and hopped on.

    ... to the fridge to get some milk for her peanut butter and banana sandwich, the RV took a small swing to one side, and her big toe (mostly the nail) went the other direction! Well, the Gann family toe curse was back to haunt again - its a long story. She will live, but its going to take some weeks to let it grow back to normal.
