... I stayed home to rest under the guise of getting rid of the remains of my cold. ... you can while not burning out. One thing that I would definitely do differently if we had another opportunity would be to stay longer in most places that we visit. Packing and unpacking on a regular basis is the most exhausting aspect but we also miss our family and friends and the kids especially miss social interaction. There will definitely have to be a lot of catch ups (I’m not allowed to call them play dates anymore!) when we get home!

... had to fill out the migration card and I happened to have already some troubles to fill it out.. Luckily an old man on the other side of the corridor helped me. It seems to be rather strict with all the departure dates and host person details.. Anyway it doesn't feel like I am actually going to St. Petersburg, of course I am a bit nervous and even scared, but I don't realize it ...
... a great day and because we had driven past Lahti, were only about 45minutes from AK&Z so Sunday we drove to Jarvenpaa in the morning and returned to Kangasala in the afternoon.
Sunday evening we had our last sauna in Finland when we stopped with Pekka & family again, returned our hire car Monday morning and took a train back to Jarvenpaa. Time here in Finland is getting short now with only about a week to go........has all been wonderful.

Italy equalised about 10 minutes in, but we kept on attacking, leaving Alex on her own at the back each time we went forward. We seemed to be having the majority of chances for a while (and the majority of the offside shouts!) but the Italians scored a glorious goal in the 80th. The game finished 2-1 to Italy. Not the way we wanted to start our tournament.
