... times and been grateful recipients of Mal's cooking, and also tried out some of the thousands of NY eating places, including lovely French breakfasts at Lafayette, and Buvette, a paella with lobster (!) at Cafe Espagnol, and a negroni and pasta at Torino. George's 63rd birthday on January 7 was cause for some of the above, and his birthday took an extra surprise turn. We were heading to MOMA, to see the Matisse cut-outs exhibition.
