I would like to subtitle this entry 'Exercises in Futility' Today I visited a branch of the MoMa called PS1 in Long Island City, which is not on Long Island, it's in Queens. My day already doesn't make sense. I had to get on the G train to get there which I have now decided is my least favorite train in the entire subway system. I still can't believe New Yorkers would vote the C train their least favorite. I love the C train. It hasn't let me down yet. ...

... Art was especially interesting to me. I saw so many different sarcophagi, a few mummies, and many displays of hieroglyphics. I got 3 bras, Mim got 2 to start with and will be heading back to spoil herself further on a later date. G Star and I found my pants for tonight's roof top party. Mim scored a dress and it 5pm falling off our feet in exhaustion. Hotel... ...

... entry would be much more atmospheric if the only sports on TV weren't a Yankees game from three years ago and petty NBA predictions about upcoming playoff games. My Mediterranean vegetable sandwich, however, is impressive, mainly because of the tangy aioli sauce, which coincidentally is dripping down my forearms. All in all, the stressful part of the airport is over. Once this frosty Pinot Grigio kicks in, it's clear skies ahead for me ...

... to explore the city a bit to get some food and headed back on to the subway to a station we'd been at before that seemed relatively central. When we got above ground though there wasn't really anything around, so we had a bit of a look at the map and decided we'd head to my favourite place in the world, just down the road from where we were, Times Square! I was very pleased and Boylan enjoyed his first (I'm planning more!) look around the ludicrously brightly lit square. As it ...
