    ... on Thursday, which we successfully picked out as the best weather for the week. Although it was still in negative temperatures, it was sunny with a solid blue sky, and very little wind. We took the subway out to Brooklyn, emerging at a beautifully decorated station right between the Museum and Botanical Gardens.     ... One great trip we did was the Circle Line cruise around Manhattan. It was bitterly cold that day! And it was equally cold last Friday, but it was also sunny, so we decided to do it again. This time we were lucky to be early enough to get seats inside, beside a very large window. It was a great trip, and now that we've been here in NY several times, our appreciation for the different areas we were seeing was considerably enhanced.     ... the Chelsea Market but the storm clouds were brewing and it had started to rain. I had left without enough clothing and no umbrella.
